The hide is digitally acquired and its quality zones are automatically detected by the 2Tetrix Leather software, preparing the surface for piece placement. Placement can be performed in two modes: Manual Nesting: Ideal for small volumes and custom production. The operator places the pieces directly on the machine, ensuring maximum flexibility and full control. Automatic Nesting: Designed for higher volumes. An integrated camera detects quality zones and the software automatically generates an optimized nesting, directly on the cutting machine.

The hides are positioned on the machine and marked according to their quality zones. This step allows operators to clearly identify the quality zones, ensuring precise material selection before cutting. Once nesting is completed, the hide is fmoved to the cutting area of the PLY1 machine. The cut pieces are then collected and transferred to the next production stages. Designed for furniture, automotive, and leather accessory producers, it introduces a modern workflow where nesting happens visually on the hide, directly on the machine, with total control before cutting. Installed on board with the Ply1, the software works exactly where production happens. Operators can choose between manual nesting for full craftsmanship control or automatic nesting assisted by smart recognition tools. 2TetrixLeather projects pattern pieces directly onto the hide, respecting natural hide shape, defects, and quality zones allowing operators to position each component exactly where it belongs. After cutting, the pattern names are projected directly on the surface, allowing the operator to quickly and easily collect each piece without confusion.
